We are currently in the midst of organizing and executing our first Erasmus + Project, which we applied to in March 2022. This project is called ‘Cartographies for Change’ and involves forming a partnership between Zilina (SK) and Almeria (ES). We applied under the Youth Participation Activities action (KA-154-YOU), and our project includes a diverse and innovative program of pre-project activities in each country building up to a festival organized by each country.

In our case this is the Kinesis Festival. It is during this festival period when our partner (La Periferica) will come and witness our work during an exchange. We have learned a huge amount setting up and running this project, as we have gone through the process without a lot of guidance, so it was a very steep learning curve indeed! Organizing this project made the young office develop the skills and competencies of our team enabling us to manage communication with partners, budgets and so much more. We feel that this is just the start of a young office setting up more projects in the future and we cannot wait to see where this journey takes us.
